1) An astonishing table levitation video
At the PA convention in Freiburg, we were able to watch
a demonstration of table levitation by our colleague Michael Nahm at the IGPP premises.
It reminds us to be vigilant about announcements of and to take the necessary precautions to ensure that the effects observed are not clever sleight of hand. 2) A step forward for the site on physical mediumship
The Physical Mediums section of the site is expanding:

A general presentation of the phenomenology
of physical mediums has been created https://www.macropk.org/physical-mediums/phenomenology
with the first part comparing the effects produced by nine recognized mediums
from the period 1850 to 1920.
We would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Stephen Braude, who
recently passed away, and who carried out a huge amount of research and documentation
on the phenomena of Macro Pk, particularly on physical mediumship (you can find him in the database in the section
(Experimentation/Researcher database/text search for

3) Continuation of the Poltergeist database and actions in this field
The various statistical features have been further improved and expanded. Please do not hesitate to contact us if any features are unclear or appear to be missing.
For example, you can search for the locations of poltergeists that have all or at least some of the characteristics on a list (AND and OR functions).
In addition, as a large number of cases (more than 2,000) were
provided to us by Paul Cropper in the form of PDF files, we have
developed an automated process using Python and Gemini to automatically process cases (extracting characteristics, evaluating the level of testimonies and details, identifying investigators, sources of information, generating summaries in five languages, detailed analysis including explanations of the choices for each characteristic, etc.).
So the database will soon expand significantly with cases
particularly in Asia, Africa, and
Latin America.
In parallel with my participation in the IMI's Hauntings and
Poltergeist group, I am now also participating in the SCC (Spontaneous Case Committee) group at the SPR. This will enable us to consolidate case analyses and optimize archiving and case history aspects, with an international perspective.
Finally, I hope to be able to publish some interesting statistical results soon, obtained using techniques such as clustering.

PA Freiburg convention, SSE online convention and release of " Le Grand Manuel de Parapsychologie Scientifique "

On site interesting contacts were made with the IGPP team.
Simon Duan and Yin Damin presented research conducted in China on teleportation and the impacts observed on cameras during these experiments, which could be used for fraud detection.
Morris Freedman presented his work on improving PK performance using rTMS (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation). The idea is to reduce the action of the frontal lobe, which is thought to inhibit psi abilities.
We presented a study at the annual SSE convention on a supposed case of macro-PK that appears to involve bursts of air (as certain physical mediums did between 1850 and 1920; see the section on physical mediums /phenomenology)

To mark the release of the collective work Le Grand Manuel de Parapsychologie Scientifique (The Great Handbook of Scientific Parapsychology), published by Dunod, to which I contributed along with 15 other authors (notably in writing the chapter on poltergeists), a symposium was organized in Lyon on October 11 by Vertical Project: "Scientists Confront the Paranormal," and another event took place in Paris at Forum 104 on November 24.

Experimentation in "spoon bending" thanks to the development by Dan Graboï in the USA of a device that measures both the pressure force (lower circuit connected to a load cell placed under the spoon's support axis) and the angle of inclination of the spoon (accelerometer placed in the spoon). This allows us to immediately see whether the bends obtained are related to the forces applied manually to them.
